I remember asking my mom for money to buy myself this album. This album got heavy play in my portable CD player that my older sister left behind when she went to college, ha. I LOVED this album, still do. Mind you, I was still considered a kid, and when I listened to this album, it made me feel like i was in a hot, sweaty basement with dark red lighting, but none of that mattered because your spirit was focused on the music, ..... no lie, i still feel the same way when i listen to it. New Album On The Way

Wellp, for about the past year and a half I've been working on music. So all my peoples that are like, "why the hell doesn't ingrid call me back, why haven't I seen her ..." , I've been enjoying the process of making music, PLUS having to work a 9-5. I can't divulge the album title right now, but soon enough I know you'll understand why I can't tell you just yet.

Anyways, just wanted to let you know, and I'll keep you posted.

i-cartoon diaries -first episode

Okay, so I created a song that I would love to hear somebody like Talib Kweli, to Drake, to Rhymefest, to Sade put their heart into. I felt it so much, I had to put my ideas on it as well. As I have collected some video footage, and have been trying to figure out what I wanted to do for my first episode of 'i-Cartoon Diaries' ( an online videographic journey of my musical endeavors), I decided to put up this episode showing some of what I do while I create my music. The song idea is entitle 'Dangerous'. It's a little Michael Jackson inspired, and has a real emotion evoking feel to it....( or at least it is to me ). This is not the full version (but if I was an artist...which I'm not... it would be like a 10-15 minute song for an upcoming album...or more so in these days mixtape). It's about creating the frame of mind where as somebody "trying to make it", sometimes you have to create a situation or platform for yourself so that when an opportunity does come along, or if yo create one for yourself, there's a lot more that you bring to the table b/c you've been grinding hard for the desires of your heart. One of the most important things I didn't mention in this version is that God is always apart of the joourney.

By the way....this whole video editing thing is hard as hell.....trying to link picture up with audio and rhythm...... I'm just sayin! Hope you enjoy. Let your gifts make room for you.
