The Foreign Exchange

Grammy Nominated Group the Foreign Exchange who made it doing the independent thing. great Story. Here's a vlog they did in reference to their Grammy nomination, and I also posted a phone interview they did a couple months ago. If you're in the Nati, they're scheduled to perform at the club MIXX on January 31, but continually check b/c you know how the Nati can be sometimes.

i-cartoon diaries -first episode

Okay, so I created a song that I would love to hear somebody like Talib Kweli, to Drake, to Rhymefest, to Sade put their heart into. I felt it so much, I had to put my ideas on it as well. As I have collected some video footage, and have been trying to figure out what I wanted to do for my first episode of 'i-Cartoon Diaries' ( an online videographic journey of my musical endeavors), I decided to put up this episode showing some of what I do while I create my music. The song idea is entitle 'Dangerous'. It's a little Michael Jackson inspired, and has a real emotion evoking feel to it....( or at least it is to me ). This is not the full version (but if I was an artist...which I'm not... it would be like a 10-15 minute song for an upcoming album...or more so in these days mixtape). It's about creating the frame of mind where as somebody "trying to make it", sometimes you have to create a situation or platform for yourself so that when an opportunity does come along, or if yo create one for yourself, there's a lot more that you bring to the table b/c you've been grinding hard for the desires of your heart. One of the most important things I didn't mention in this version is that God is always apart of the joourney.

By the way....this whole video editing thing is hard as hell.....trying to link picture up with audio and rhythm...... I'm just sayin! Hope you enjoy. Let your gifts make room for you.
